MONOCHROMATIC HALLOWEEN WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for a new Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Challenge #159 is Monochromatic : Shades of One Color! As Halloween is approaching, I wanted to create a Halloween themed card, this time with monochromatic shades of purple.

To start, I ink blended A2 White Cardstock using the Cloudy Stencil with Villainous Potion and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides. Next, I added some stars using the Starry Sky Background Hot Foil Plate. I only added foil to part of the plate as I thought the background would be too busy if I used the entire plate.

Next, I die cut the Spooky Forest Backdrop and ink blended it with Villainous Potion and Black Soot Distress Oxides. I then sprayed some Sheer Shimmer Sparkle Spray onto the frame.

I die cut the grass out of White Cardstock using Grassy Hillside Borders. I then ink blended the grass with Black Soot Distress Oxide and a small amount of Villainous Potion Distress Oxide. I splattered some water onto the grass for some texture.

Next, I die cut the pumpkins from Stitched Pumpkins and ink blended the pumpkins with the same Distress Oxides. I stamped the wolf and witches hat and die cut with the coordinating dies. I collared the images with Copic Markers listed below.

I added “BOO” using Louie’s ABCs. I die cut one “BOO” with White Cardstock and ink blended with Villainous Potion and Wilted Violet. I die cut another “BOO” with Purple Cardstock. I adhered the White “BOO” onto the top of the Purple “BOO.”

I finished off the card with a White Heat Embossed Sentiment from Happy Happy Happy on Purple Cardstock.
