VISITING LONDON WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for a new Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Challenge #151 is Summertime Fun- Critters on Vacation! For this Challenge, I thought I would make a card featuring the UK as we are long overdue for a trip to visit our friends and family there. So with this card, I am wishing my UK friends and family a Happy Summer and hopefully we can make it over there next year!

To start, I added stitched border onto the panel using the largest die from Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Next, I used the Cloudy Stencil and ink blended the clouds with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide. I splattered some blue watercolor onto the panel for added interest. I die cut the grass using Simple Grassy Borders and ink blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide. I sprayed water onto the grass for texture. I used Simple Road Border to create the road. I ink blended the top of the road with Black Soot Distress Oxide and splattered some black water-colour onto the road. I ink blended the bottom of the road with Squeezed Lemonade Distresss Oxide. I adhered the top and bottom of the road together.

For the bus, I used the Gift Card die in the Flippy Flappy set. I die cut the windows using the 1″ x 1″ square from Small Stitched Square Stackables. I created the Union Jack design using the Plaid Stencil with Festive Berries and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxides. I created the top railing using Picket Fence Die and ink blended with Festive Berries Distress Oxide.

I added some vellum for the windows. The headlights and tires were made using the bubble stamps from Let’s Bokeh and the exhaust pipe is from the chopstick from Year Thirteen.

I stamped and die cut all the images from the sets listed below and coloured with Copic Markers listed also listed below. I finished off the card with a sentiment from On The Beach.
