Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I sharing another card created for Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #149- Create a project using only dies. This time, I used the adorable Magic Iris Bee Hive Add-On which will be release tomorrow!
To start, I die cut the A2 size back panel with Ripe Banana Paper and set it aside. I die cut all the pieces of the Magic Iris set and ink blended the front panel and tab with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide. I splattered some blue water color and white acrylic onto the panel for added interest. I ink blended the “Iris” (center circle) part and the arrow with Wild Honey Distress Oxide and splattered some orange water color.
Next, I die cut 3 sets of honey comb from the Honey Comb Shaker Gift Tag set and the Magic Iris Bee-Hive. I ink blended the die cuts with Wild Honey Distress Oxide.
I finished off the card with using part of the “I Love You More Than Candy Corn” sentiment from How You Bean? Corn Add-On. I masked off “Candy Corn” with Best Ever Craft Tape- .25″ and stamped the sentiment onto a strip of Wishing Well paper and then I white heat embossed the sentiment.
I put together the Magic Iris and adhered it to the back of the front panel. I opened the Iris and placed the front panel on top of the back panel. I lightly traced the circle opening area onto the back panel with a pencil. I removed the Iris and stamped “Honey” onto the area and adhered the honey comb pieces around the words.
Next, I die cut the bear using the face die from Tiny Gift Box Skunk Add-On. I ink blended the bear with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide (Cheeks).
I adhered the front panel onto the back panel with foam tape. I added the following die cuts ink blended with the corresponding Distress Oxides: bees/Squeezed Lemonade, flowers /Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac, leaves /Mowed Lawn, and branches/Gathered Twigs.

This is sooooooo adorable! I had to pop over to see where the Bear is from. I own that Gift Box Add-on and I don’t think I’ve used it yet. I’m so inspired!
