EASTER SHAKER GIFT TAGS WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! Easter is just a few days away and today I am sharing some fun shaker Easter basket gift tags created with the new Secret Garden die and the Springtime Bunny die.

To start, I die cut 3 domes from the Secret Garden set out of white cardstock. I ink blended the backgrounds with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide using the Cloudy Stencil. I splattered some blue water color onto the cloudy background for added detail. I set the three background panels aside to dry.

Next, I die cut 3 more domes out of acetate and prepped the acetate with an anti static tool listed in the bottom. I then die cut 3 floral frames by nesting the floral frame inside the dome and securing the frame with craft tape using paper from Stripes ‘n Sprinkles. I die cut 3 more floral frames with white cardstock.

I ink blended the flowers and leaves on the 3 white floral frames with Saltwater Taffy (flowers), and Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides (leaves). I trimmed off the flowers and leaves and adhered them onto the Stripes ‘n Sprinkles frames. I added some accents onto the flowers and leaves with a white gelly roll pen.

I die cut 3 Springtime Bunnies out of white cardstock and lightly inked the cheeks, ears, nose with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide. I added some highlights on the cheeks with a white gelly roll pen. I die cut 3 carrots out of white cardstock and ink blended the carrots with Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon, Mowed Lawn, and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide. I adhered the floral frames, bunnies, and carrots onto acetate. I flipped the frames over and added foam tape around the edges.

I added some shaker elements onto the cloudy background pieces and I adhered the frames on top. I die cut 3 tabs out of the same paper and glued the tabs onto the back of the shaker tags. I tied some twine onto the tabs. I finished off the gift tags with a stamped sentiment from Easter Before ‘n Afters.
