Hello Crafty Friends! Its time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! Challenge #144 is all things birthday! For this challenge, I created a birthday card with the new sewing themed set.
For the background, I die cut a frame using the Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait die, out of white cardstock. I adhered the frame onto A2 white cardstock with foam tape. To make the quilt background, I used the second smallest square in the Large Stitched Square Stackables set and die cut squares with paper from What’s Sewing Paper Pack. I trimmed the squares into triangles with my paper trimmer. I adhered the triangles onto the frame background with foam tape for dimension.
Next, I die cut two strips of rectangles sized 4″W x 1.5″ H and 4″W x .75″H out of paper from the same pack. I added a stitched border on both strips using Stitched Border Dies and adhered the strips onto the bottom of the frame.
I stamped and die cut the images from Sew Very Mice and Sewn with Love and coloured them with Copic Markers listed below.

I tied some embroidery floss around the spools, needle, and added a bow on the hoop. I finished off the card with a sentiment from the same set stamped onto a white banner die cut with Extra Sentiment Banners.
The Challenge is open until Sunday, March 19th at 11:59PM ET. All entries will have a chance to win a $50 Lawn Fawn gift certificate and you will also have a chance to be featured in the Lawn Fawnatics Blog!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you like my card!
