Happy Galentine’s Day Crafty Friends! Today, I am sharing one more card created for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #142- Interactive cards. My card was inspired by the Tunnel of Love and Swan rides.
To start, I ink blended A2 size cardstock with Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide with the Brick Stencil. I splattered some Picked Raspberry mixed with a small amount of water onto the card for interest and set aside to dry. While the background was drying, I die cut the Heart Garden Border and ink blended with Spun Sugar and Festive Berries. I die cut the waves using Ocean Wave borders and ink blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and splattered some blue water-colour.
I die cut the Flamingo from Flamingo Floatie and turned it into a swan. I stamped and die cut the mice and wine glasses and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below.
Once the background was dried, I die cut the heart opening with the largest heart from Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables. I then die cut the Giant Love Ya out of white cardstock and ink blended with Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, and Festive Berries Distress Oxide. I adhered the Love Ya onto a lacy heart background die cut with vellum. I adhered the heart onto the front of the card.
For the lights, I glued the the back of the light device onto A2 cardstock with double sided tape. Next I placed an extra Giant Love Ya die cut onto the cardstock and taped down the wire to the areas where I wanted the lights to be. I only had the three light set so I thought I would put the lights on the left, middle and right side of the Love Ya die cut. Next, I removed the extra die cut and placed the front of the card on top of the base. I used a pencil to mark the area of the button on the device onto the card front. I glued the card front onto the base with foam tape.
I stamped “Push Me” onto leftover cardstock with the brick background and die cut the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment over the pencil marking.

I adhered all the other items onto the front of the card and added a border using a Valentine’s Border and a pink border made with White Woodgrain Cardstock ink blended with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Happy Galentine’s Day!

Hi, Catherine (Cat?) –
This is just adorable. I’m so smitten w/ it. So creative. Reminded me of the swan boats in Boston…. pls see my comment at the LF site, too. Lots of compliments there — I don’t remember precisely what I wrote but I just love your card!

There are swan boats nearby where I live as well. Thanks so much! I will check out the LF site 🙂
The lights make the card looks special and romantic!
Thank you!
