Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for a new challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! As Valentine’s Day is less than a month away, Challenge #141 is all about lots of heart! For this challenge, I wanted to make treat cups for an upcoming Valentine’s party and was inspired by the sweet All My Heart stamp set which was a gift with purchase. The soaring mouse reminded me of hot air balloons so I created hot air balloon treat cups for the party.
To make the hot air balloon baskets, I ink blended Tumbled Glass, Picked Raspberry, and Festive Berries Distress Oxide Inks with Lots of Hearts Stencil onto white cardstock. I used the Stitched Basket die to die cut the basket. I die cut the bottom of the basket with pink cardstock. I adhered the basket together with Beary Art glue.
For the heart shaped hot air balloons, I die cut 5 hearts per hot air balloon using the second largest heart in Heart Stackables with cardstock from Textured Canvas Cardstock. I scored each heart in the middle and folded each one in half and glued the hearts together leaving a small gap on the sides for the placement of the treat sticks. I used my hot glue gun and added a small amount of glue to the top and sides of the treat sticks and adhered the sticks in between the hearts.

Next, I used my glue gun and added glue to the bottom of the sticks and adhered the sticks onto the base of the basket.

For the bunting, I used the heart garland from the Heart Garland Landscape Backdrop and die cut with different colors of pink cardstock. I adhered the bunting onto the sticks with glue. I stamped and die cut the cute mouse and coloured with Copic Markers listed below.

I finished off the card with sentiments from Wavy Sayings and Scent with Love. I used Lacy Borders to add a frame around the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment.
The Challenge is open until Sunday, February 5th at 11:59PM ET. All entries will have a chance to win a $50 Lawn Fawn gift certificate and you will also have a chance to be featured in the Lawn Fawnatics Blog!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you like my card!
