Hello Crafty Friends! I am back again sharing another card created for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #135- Coffee, Tea, and Treats! This time, my card was inspired by hot cocoa bombs. I thought the new Build A Snowman Die would make cute White Chocolate Cocoa Bombs!
I started off by cutting a piece of White Cardstock 3 3/3″ x 8″. To add texture to the white background, I used Pearl Stencil Paste with the Snow Flurries Background Stencil. While the background was drying, I die cut two snowmen and all the coordinating parts. I ink blended the nose with Carrot Ink, branch arms with Doe and Walnut Ink, earmuffs with Ballet Slippers and Red Lobster Ink. I trimmed the body off the snowmen so that the total height of the snowmen was around 1.5.” Next, I glued the carrot, earmuffs, and branch arms on. I cut two small circles out of Black Licorice cardstock and adhered the circles to the back of each of the snowmen’s head.
I die cut marshmallows from the Stitched Mug Frame. I ink blended the edges of some of the marshmallows with Ballet Slippers Ink and added Chunky Glitter. I then stamped the mints with Ballet Slippers and Red Lobster Inks and die cut the mints.

For the background of the cocoa mugs, I die cut two mugs from the Outside in Stitched Mug set and ink blended with Walnut, Doe, and Pizza Crust Inks. I die cut two more mugs out of acetate and trimmed off the mug handles. For each of the mug frames, I die cut 3 out of White Cardstock and adhered them together for each set. I adhered a frame die cut from Warm Beanie Cardstock onto the acetate piece and for the other mug, I adhered a frame die cut from Lost Mitten Cardstock onto the other acetate piece.
I glued some marshmallows and mints onto each of the mug backgrounds. I added straws by trimming two strips of paper from Red Sprinkle n’ Shine and glued on the snowmen. I then added some glittery shaker elements onto each of the mug backgrounds and glued on the acetate front.
I thought it would be fun to add white foam and used the the Platform Pop-Up Hillside Inserts and Chunky Glitter to create the foam. I glued the mugs and snowmen onto the card base and added glittery marshmallow and more mints. I added White Heat embossed sentiments and glued the card onto a border die cut with the Large Slimline die out of Lost Mitten Cardstock. I finished off the card by wrapping some Peppermint Single Cord twine onto the top of the card.
The Challenge is open until Sunday, November 6 at 11:59PM ET. All entries will have a chance to win a $50 Lawn Fawn gift certificate and you will also have a chance to be featured in the Lawn Fawnatics Blog!
