Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I am sharing another card created for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #133- Awesome Autumn! For this card, I wanted to make a Halloween card using the new Fantastic Bats and the Peekaboo Pop Die.
To start, I die cut White Cardstock with the Peekaboo Pop Up Die. Using the Brick Stencil, I ink blended the front using Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide. To add interest, I splattered the front with some Black Soot Distress Oxide mixed with a small amount of water. I then die cut the front using the second largest die in the Large Stitched 4 Bar Rectangles to make the opening for the window.
I die cut the Window Frame with Light Brown Woodgrain Cardstock. I inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide and adhered it onto the brick background
I die cut the background using the background piece from the Peekaboo Pop-Up set out of White Cardstock. I ink blended the background with Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide. I sprayed the background with Shimmer Spray and adhered it onto the Peekaboo Pop-Up.

For the Peekaboo Mechanism, I die cut two pieces, one for the top and the other for the bottom as shown below. I extended the “arm” of the mechanism on the bottom of the card so that I could hide the ghost on the bottom.

For the caution tape, I die cut two strips of yellow paper. I stamped the word “caution” using Harold’s ABC’s. I added a border from Plan On It-Holiday and made zig zag edges using Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables.
Next I added cobwebs, spider and a spooky fence die cut out of White Yardstick using Cute Cobweb Die and Spooky Fence Border. I ink blended the images with Black Soot Distress Ink. I added spooky vines from Happy Harvest Pumpkins
I stamped, die cut, and coloured the images from Fantastic Friends and Add-On, Booyah, and Happy Harvest and adhered all the images onto the card. To finish off the card, I added a Happy Haunting sentiment from the Happy Haunting set.
The Challenge is open until Sunday, October 2nd at 11:59PM ET. All entries will have a chance to win a $50 Lawn Fawn gift certificate and you will also have a chance to be featured in the Lawn Fawnatics Blog!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you like my card!
