Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I am sharing a “calorie free” chocolate box that I created with Lawn Fawn stamps. My card was inspired by the current Lawn Fawn Clean and Simple Challenge along with my son’s love for chocolate. At the end, I couldn’t resist and I had to add a critter.
To start, I lightly ink blended a piece of 4.25″ x 5.5″ card stock with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. The the box divider was made by die cutting white cardstock with the Peekaboo Backdrop and the outer frame was made by die cutting white cardstock with the largest frame in the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Windows set.
For the white chocolate wrappers, I used the sun die from Out of this World set and I scored the lines as shown below.
The heart shaped chocolates were made using the heart stamp from Scent with Love and the round chocolates were made using the sun stamp from All the Clouds. I coloured the chocolates with Copic Markers listed below and then I fussy cut the chocolates. For the heart shaped chocolates, I used E49 and changed the rounded edges of the heart stamp into jagged edges to resemble the edges of a candy wrapper.
I attached the chocolates with foam tape onto the wrappers. For the top of the box, I glued a piece of acetate 4.25″ x 5.5″ onto the white outer frame and added two layers of foam tape around the four edges. I then adhered the white outer frame with the acetate onto the card. I finished off the card by adding a white heat embossed sentiment and I couldn’t resist but to add the skunk and hearts onto the top of the box.
