HAPPY NEW YEAR CRAFTY FRIENDS!!! I hope everyone had a relaxing holiday season. I am starting off the new year with this card created with the new Lawn Fawn skunks.
For the background, I made two die cuts with the Peppermint Stripes Backdrop using Gold Glitter Cardstock and Strawberry Frosting Cardstock. I glued on the gold stripes and added confetti in four colors using the Confetti Die from Really High Five. The white speckled confetti and balloons were made from cardstock that was stencilled with Confetti Stencil using Spun Sugar, Kirsh Flamingo and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks and splattered with Gold Gansai Tambi watercolour. I actually made the cardstock for another card and used the leftover pieces for the confetti and the two balloons. The black confetti and numbers were made from black card stock splattered with Gold Gansai Tambi watercolour. The pink confetti was made from existing Lawn Fawn cardstock.
I layered the black numbers with a layer of gold glitter and a layer of pink cardstock all die cut with Finley’s 123s. The balloons were coloured with Copics ( listed on the bottom ) and heat embossed with gold glitter. The numbers on the larger balloons were heat embossed in black and in white. The hats were also heat embossed with gold glitter.
