SNOWMEN SHAKER CARD WITH PRETTY PINK POSH

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I am sharing a shaker card created with Pretty Pink Posh stamps and dies.

To start, I ink blended Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks onto white cardstock leaving the bottom white for a snow effect. I sprayed a small amount of water onto the cardstock and once dried, I added an embossed snowfall background with the Snowfall Stencil. I placed the stencil over the background and used a finger dauber stamped with Versamark ink onto the open areas of the stencil. I sprinkled sparkling snow glitter all over the background and tapped off all the excess glitter. I used a heat tool to seal the glitter.

I coloured three snowmen from the Snowmen Friends set with Copics (listed below) and used an embossing pen to highlight the areas where I wanted a snow effect. I then sprinkled sparkling snow glitter onto the highlighted areas and heat embossed.

For the frame, I die cutted white cardstock with the larger size Scallop Frame. I glued a piece of acetate, 3.8″ x 4.8″onto the back of the frame and brushed the acetate with a powder tool to prevent static. I added thin double sided foam tape along the borders on the backside frame. I turned the frame over and glued the three snowmen onto the front.

The sentiment was made by die cutting Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock with Let It Snow Script Die. I wanted the sentiment to stand out a bit more so I glued the sentiment onto a red background.

To finish off the card, I added snow themed confetti from the Clay Confetti Wheel making sure not to have the confetti too close to the edges of the card. I removed the tape on the backside of the frame and attached the frame onto the background.
