LAWN FAWNATICS CHALLENGE #109- AWESOME AUTUMN INSPIRATION GHOSTBUSTERS!

Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I am excited to share another inspiration card for the Lawn Fawnatics #109 Awesome Autumn Challenge.

This card was inspired by one of my favourite childhood movies, Ghostbusters. To start, I masked the moon area using the moon from Happy Haunting. I added Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink around the masked area and then slowly ink blended Wilted Violet Oxide Ink. I then splattered white paint and Liquid Stardust on the background. I used Stitched Tree Borders to die cut the trees with black cardstock.

For the hill, I used Slimline Simple Stitched Hillside Borders to create the hill and then ink blended with Black Soot Distress Ink. I then splattered a small amount of red paint and Black Soot Distress Ink for highlights. The road was made by cutting a piece of cardstock into an inverted square, 1.5″ wide at the bottom x 1″ wide at the top x 1.8″ high (see photo below). I then ink blended the cardstock with Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and splattered Black Soot Distress Ink for texture.

The Ghostbusters are from Tiny Friends and the car from Car Critters. I made the sign on the front of the car with Gemstone Shimmer cardstock and the round window frame from Mushroom House and added a ghost from Tiny Halloween. For the top of the car, I added a 1″ long x .25″ high strip of cardstock colored with yellow and black diagonal stripes (see picture above). The moon, ghosts and bats are from Happy Haunting, pumpkins from Pick of the Patch and Happy Harvest, the spooky eyes and cat are from Tiny Halloween and the tombstone is from Haunted Village. I finished off the card by adding some glitter onto the bats with a Lawn Fawn glitter pen.
