Hello Crafty Friends! I’m sharing a Valentines created with Papertrey Ink’s Heirloom Hearts Die Set and This Is Big Sentiments: Definitions of Love Stamp Set from the December Release. When I first saw the “love” definition stamp, I was immediately inspired by old textbooks and dictionaries, inspiring the note paper background for this design.
To begin, I ink blended a soft heart background using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide on 4″ x 51/4″ white cardstock. I set the panel aside.
Next, I die cut two torn note book sheets using Love To Layer: Notebook Die Set– one from white cardstock and the other from Bitty Big Raspberry Fizz cardstock. On the white sheet, I added notebook lines using Tumbled Glass and Pure Poppy ink with the Just Notes Stencil Collection, then stamped the definition of “love” along the bottom. I adhered the white notebook piece slightly overlapping the Raspberry Fizz layer and mounted both onto the heart background panel.

For the focal point, I die cut a large doily heart from Bitty Pink Posey cardstock with a heart from Heirloom Hearts Die Set. I also die cut a white heart and a Pure Poppy heart, layered them together, and adhered them onto the notebook paper. To add extra detail and dimension, I tucked a pink heart behind the layers and added smaller hearts
I finished the card with a soft pink border.
Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed this Valentine’s project and found a little inspiration along the way!
