Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring the Reflections: Romans 8 sentiment from Papertrey Ink’s June Release.
To start, I used the Cornered Butterflies die to cut the bottom of an A2 sized white cardstock panel. I then lightly inked the background using the Hearts and Stripes stencil with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and added a few splatters of navy watercolor for extra texture. I set the panel aside to dry.
Next, I die cut the coordinating background layers from white cardstock and softly blended Salty Ocean Distress Oxide around the edges. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink on a white panel.

For embellishments, I used the Build-A-Butterfly set to die cut flowers and leaves. The flowers were inked with Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean, and the leaves with Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters Distress Oxides.
I adhered the layers and sentiment onto the front panel and finished the design with hot foil butterflies from the Winged Serenity set.
Thanks so much for joining me! I hope this card brings a bit of peace and encouragement to your day!
