Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a travel-themed card created with Papertrey Ink’s Build-A-Suitcase set and the Well Traveled Hot Foil plate from the June Release.
To start, I die cut a postage stamp background using the North Pole Postage Stamp die. Next, I added a hot foil background using the Well Traveled hot foil plate and navy glimmer hot foil. I wrapped some black and white twine around the hot foiled panel and adhered it onto the postage stamp background.
I die cut the suitcase, accessories, and leaves. I ink blended the images with following Distress Oxides:
Suitcase: Hickory Smoke, Gathered Twigs, (handle and wheels were die cut using silver metallic cardstock)
Straw Hat: Scattered Straw, Black Soot, Salty Ocean, Ripe Persimmon
Flip Flops: Blueprint Sketch, Ripe Persimmon
Neck Pillow: Salvaged Patina
Sunglasses: Black Soot
Leaves: Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint

Once everything was inked and assembled, I arranged the elements onto the hot foiled background, tucking the leaves behind the suitcase for a layered look.
To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Wish You Were Here set.
Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you like my card!

SO good! The neck pillow really “makes” it!
Thanks Lori! The neck pillow at first was a solid color and looked too heavy so I added some polka dots on the pillow to lighten it up 🙂
This is so fun
Thanks so much!
