Howdy, friends! I’m back with another Western-inspired card featuring Papertrey Ink’s May Release of cowboy-themed stamps and dies!
To start, I created a background using the Home On the Range hot foil plate with white Glimmer foil, then trimmed the panel to 5.25″ x 4.”
Next, I die cut the rope frames out of Kraft cardstock and added depth by inking the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide. After adhering them to the background, I trimmed off overhang

I die cut and stamped all the images with the ink colors listed below. I borrowed some flowers and foliage from Into The Blooms: Wild Wood and ink blended the images with the inks listed below.
For the sentiment, I stamped “Howdy Friend” on White Cardstock and layered on Vellum. I finished the card with a border using blue patterned paper from the Men of Life Paper Collection and some sparkle with Nuvo Crystal Drops.
Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you like my card!
