WINNIE THE POOH INSPIRED BIRTHDAY CARD WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for a new Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Challenge #169, Inspired By a Book, Movie, Song or Show, is one of my favourite Challenges! For this Challenge, I created a Winnie the Pooh themed Birthday card.

To start, I ink blended a cloudy background with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide on A2 White Cardstock using the Cloudy Stencil. I die cut the tree backdrop and leaves with the Leafty Tree Backdrop: Landscape. I ink blended the tree with Gathered Twigs and Antique Linen Distress Oxides and the leaves with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides.

I adhered the tree backdrop onto the cloudy background. I die cut a frame out of Jack Cardstock and adhered it over top.

I die cut a grassy border out of Grassy Hillside Borders and ink blended with the same colors as the leaves. I splatters some green watercolour for added texture. I adhered the grass onto the framed background.

I stamped and die cut the images from the sets listed below and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. I masked off the bear snout on the bear for a closer resemblance to Pooh. I trimmed off the snow globe and added in the Hunny Jar. I added a Gold Foiled trail behind the bee and I finished off the card with a sentiment from Offset Sayings: Everyday.
