Hello Crafty Friends! Who is in the mood for Spring? I definitely am! The snow is still not melting over here but in the meantime, I am sharing a Gazebo inspired card created with the new Build-A-Greenhouse die!
To start, I die cut the platform pop up with cardstock from the new Rainbow Ever After Paper Pack. This is one of my favourite paper collections as all the patterns and colours in the pack are so pretty. I die cut the planter with Gold Metallic Cardstock and all the other coordinating pieces with White Cardstock. I ink blended the grass with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide and splattered some green water color for added texture. I ink blended the the other two ground pieces with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide and sprayed the pieces with water.
I diecut the flower border using the Straight Flower Border die. I die cut the fence using the fence die from Build-A-House Spring Add On.

Next, I ink blended the following pieces with distress oxides listed below:
- Pots and Bench: Tea Dye, Gathered Twigs
- Greens: Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron
- Flowers: Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac (I added some highlights with pencil crayons)
I adhered the platform together. I stamped the images and diecut with the coordinating dies. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below.
I adhered the platform together. I stamped the sentiment on White Cardstock and added a gold and blue border.

I finished off the card with some cute bees along the sides and in the front.
Thank you so much for joining me today and I hope you like my card!

Thanks so much Lori! 🙂
I love this card and I’m making it for my sister. How do you get the frames of the greenhouse to stand up and not sag to the front or the back.
Hi Cheryl, I used white cardstock , 110/297 gm for the greenhouses. It is quite sturdy. In the platform pop up set, there are two dies for the bottom of the pop up, hill and grass. I die cut one grass piece for the front and two hill pieces for the back. I adhered the grass onto the front t-shaped bottom (and glued our mice friends on top of the grass). I then adhered the two hills onto the middle and back t-shaped bottom. I then adhered the greenhouse frames onto the hills followed by potted plants. I hope this makes sense. If not, please feel free to reach out.
Thank you! SUCCESS! I tried the heavier card and it did the trick. My greenhouse is Cute. Thanks again.
YAY! That’s wonderful! Your sister is going to love the card!
