Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for another Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Challenge #150 is all about botanicals! For this Challenge, I was inspired by the pretty pink florals on the photo board. Lately, I have been seeing a lot of pop up flower markets so for this card I decided to create flower cart.
To start, I die cut A2 white cardstock with the largest die in Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Using the Cloudy Stencil, I ink blended the panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and splattered the panel with blue water-colour. Next I used the Grassy Border die to die cut the grass. I ink blended the grassy border with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide and sprayed the border with water.
I die cut the images and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below.
To make the flower cart, I used the following pieces in the photo below and listed in the supplies.

I started off by die cutting the awning from Scalloped Treat Box Beach House Add-On. I inked the awning with Black Soot Distress Ink. For the base of the cart, I trimmed a rectangle piece, 3″W x 1.25″H out of white cardstock. I then die cut two barn doors from Build-A-Barn and inked the doors with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide. I die cut three rectangle pieces from Build-A-House (2 for the poles supporting the awning out of white cardstock and 1 for the leg of the cart). I die cut a strip of white cardstock with Stitched Borders and trimmed the strip to 1/4″ W. I trimmed one piece to 4″ long for the table top of the cart base and one piece 1″ long as the bracket.

For the wheel, I used the front die cut wheel from the bicycle in Bicycle Built For You. I used the smallest two circles in Circle Stackables for the tire. I created a mask using the bubble die from Let’s Bokeh and inked the tire in Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide and Black Soot Distress Ink. I then added the center bore of the tire using the bubble die from Scripty Bubble Sentiments.

I glued the pieces of the cart together and added gold details using metallic gold cardstock. I stamped one sentiment onto the grass border and another onto white cardstock die cut with Everyday Sentiment Borders. I finished off the card by adding some clouds from Simple Puffy Clouds.
The Challenge is open until Sunday, June 18th at 11:59PM ET. All entries will have a chance to receive a $50 Lawn Fawn gift card and you will also have a chance to be featured in the Lawn Fawnatics Blog!
