Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for a new challenge at Lawn Fawnatics – Challenge #142 is all about interactive cards! As Valentine’s Day is almost a week away, I wanted to make a mini Valentine’s countdown calendar.
To start, using the Gift Box die, I made three die cuts out of white cardstock, one for the top (A) , middle (B) and bottom (C) of the box. I adhered the bottom (C) and put it aside. For the middle of the box (B), I listed the instructions below.

For the top box top (C), I trimmed off all the flaps with a paper trimmer and covered it with Happy Hearts Washi Tape. I used the guide below and drew the areas where I wanted to die cut the flaps with a pencil. Next, I used the longer grass die in Lift The Flap Meadows and made 7 flaps. I trimmed off the grass edges leaving a straight edge on the flap and adhered the top onto the middle section (B). I added the washi tape onto the side panels of (B) as in photo below. I lifted up the last flap on the bottom right corner and stamped “Be Mine.”

I die cut hearts from Candy Hearts and Just Stitching Hearts and I ink blended the hearts with Tumbled Glass, Wild Honey, Spun Sugar, Twisted Citron, and Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide Inks. For the Candy Hearts, I adhered the hearts onto die cuts of the heart base from the set which was ink blended with Festive Berries. I added white die cut numbers (1, 4, and 5) layered onto the same numbers ink blended with Festive Berries from Oliver’s Stitched 123s. I White Heat Embossed the other numbers (2, 3, 6, and 7) using the numbers from Riley’s ABC’s.
I put some paper shreds inside (C) and placed the top section (A) and (B) on top. I added some Hershey’s Kisses inside the box and closed the flaps.

I finished off the calendar with a cute bear from Snow Much Fun and a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you like my mini Valentine’s Countdown Calendar!
