WOOD YOU BE MINE? WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! I am back sharing another card created for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #141- Lots of Hearts! To me, the Venice Canal Boats are so romantic and I would love to take a journey down that canal. In the meantime, here is my “O Sole Mio” (beaver style) card!

To start, using the Mountain Stencil, I ink blended A2 white cardstock with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide. I masked the mountains and lightly added Blueprint Sketch for the sky. Next I die cut trees with Forest Border and ink blended the trees with Rustic Wilderness and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide. I splattered some water and some green water color ink for added detail. I die cut two wave borders using Ocean Wave Borders and ink blended the borders with Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide. I added two accents for the paddle and log on one of the wave borders using Ocean Wave Accents.

For the canoe, I used the second largest oval in Large Stitched Oval Stackables for the front and for the back, I used Slimline Simple Stitched Hillside Borders. I added two rectangle pieces for seats. I ink blended the canoe with Tea Dye, Antique Linen, and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxides.

I stamped and die cut the adorable beavers and log from Wood You Be Mine?, squirrels from Let’s Go Nuts, paddle from Baked With Love, guitar from S’More The Merrier, and hat from Holiday Party Animal. I colored all the images with Copic Markers listed below.

I die cut the Heart Garland Backdrop: Landscape out of white cardstock. I adhered the coordinating die cut hearts with pink cardstock onto the white frame and I added a Stitched Rectangle Frame die cut out of Lucky Penny cardstock on top.

I finished off the card with a white heat embossed sentiment, some water splashes and musical notes.
